» Dartmouth, Devon

The Devon coastline is well-known for it’s natural beauty and if you’ve got non-diving family around, Dartmouth makes a great base from which to explore this glorious countryside. Dartmouth itself is a great blend of quaint and boaty chic offering trendy restaurants and boutiques. There’s plenty to occupy the kids and with it’s Naval history, plenty to interest the grown ups.

Dartmouth, with its huge range of diving through from novice to technical remains relatively undiscovered. The other great thing is that diving in all of these ranges is accessed without having to steam too far. Finally, the marine life in this area is prolific and there’s great foraging potential too!

Both novice and intermediate divers could expect to travel out of Dartmouth towards Brixham to dive on wrecks such as the Bretagne, the Dutch tug ( ), as well as enjoying many of the scenic dives such as the Mew Stone or Slapton outer reef. Advanced divers would typically dive on the Lord Stewart, the Newholm ( ), the Maine ( ) or the Riversdale ( ). Our technical divers would be diving the Chateau Yquem( ), the Kendal Castle ( ), the Medina ( ) and the MV Murree ( ).
