As part of our safety policy, club members must have the following on every dive:

• Knife and tuff snips
• Strobe
• Reel and delayed surface marker buoy
• Less experienced divers must carry a small underwater torch. More experienced divers should carry a torch appropriate to the level of dive being conducted
• Minimum of 3 litre pony cylinder (on dives below 30 metres)
  

Occasionally dives are arranged for 40m or below (for people suitably qualified). On these dives the following equipment must be carried:

• 15 litre clylinder with a 3 litre pony, twin cylinders or rebreather
• A second reel and delayed surface marker buoy
• A minimum of an 18 watt primary torch (preferably 50 watts or HID equivalent) and a backup torch (two recommended)
• A spare mask
